For Pete’s Sake

This LP caught me off guard. I was expecting a more Bold-esque sound, just like the sort of predecessor of this band: Sportswear.

After a the first spin, I noticed they took a different approach with a much more early 90’s sound drawing influences from Supertouch, Burn and other NYHC outfits. It is hard to define exactly but I really like it. Give it a spin.

I really like this record. But I’m bummed about missing the clear light blue vinyl. I don’t think this dark blue looks as good, although it goes with the cover better.

I recall ordering an opaque blue copy, since I like solid(ish) colors more. I have to agree that the light clear blue looks a lot better.
